Silver medals

What a final!  The girls lost the first set 20-25, won the second 25-19, and lost the third 15-13.  Excellent playing by both teams and a nail-biter game right to the last point, just as a final should be.  Although the girls were disappointed not to repeat as provincial champions, they did very well to come in second. This is Kalyn in the middle of her teammates, Tiffany on the left and Cec on the right.  One of the starters broke her thumb in the first game of the tournament, and that's the thumb above Cec's shoulder.
First extra:  Kalyn liked this shot of her getting ready to serve so I included it. It gives an idea of the unique roof structure in the Richmond Oval which was built for the 2010 Winter Olympics. 
We went over to Krista's to see her, Dan and Raisin.  I've only see Raisin once before, and I was tickled pink when I picked him up and he settled into me right away and fell asleep.  Can animals tell when someone is an animal lover?  Krista had sent me a photo of him in the bathtub, and I'm including that as a second extra.  A very sweet cat.  :)
