ON THE ROCKS?

C. F. Martin have made loads of the best commercial guitars over the last 150 years.

Sadly they seem to have totally lost the plot & are now building them in Formica. That's fine for us repair people - give Formica a tap - it doesn't give like wood - it splits apart

This headstock belongs to a1976 copy of a 1920's guitar. It belongs to a really decent recent Martin - it got rather badly trashed by a clumsy cleaner. Maybe, tomorrow I'll show the repair?

Martin's big rival, Gibson is also on those rocks - how can they be so clumsy?
