Prescott Hill Climb

A group of seven members from our photographic club went to the Drivers' School at Prescott Hill Climb today and were mostly lucky with the April showers!  The day started with bacon butties, a talk for the drivers reminding them of the course and how to take the corners etc., and then lots of photo opportunities trying to pan the shots to get the car nice and sharp and the background blurred to give the impression of speed.  I'm pleased to say I'm getting slightly better at it but decided to blip this colourful shot of some of the cars parked up for the lunch break with Mr Stiffknees' Lotus taking centre stage.

Check out fitzbilly's panning shot which is really good and shows how it should be done!
