Instant Herb Garden

My attempt at establishing a windowsill herb garden in Boston has been a dismal failure.  After planting nine pots with seeds of rosemary, chives, cilantro, basil, and parsley only the cilantro has amounted to anything, and even that is a far cry from anything remotely resembling lush, verdant growth!  So I have resorted to trickery.  Yesterday afternoon I went to our local nursery and bought healthy, robust herbs which I will transplant into my little zinc pots and hope they continue to thrive in their new urban environment.
