A quick shot......

Before I left for the airport this morning I took a few photos in my garden and this one was my favorite. It is in a part of my garden where I seldom wander.....so I usually see these small Bearded Iris after they have withered. I think this one is beautiful; it is only about 8 inches high......a very short Iris indeed.

So now I am in Galveston....long trip....first by plane then a hours and half drive. Thankfully the roads were not too busy. It was a pleasant trip. It was dark when I arrived here so I look forward to looking around in the morning.  But now time for bed!
