Sandwick allotments

Day 2 in Shetland began with Rio reading to me from his school reading book. Such a pleasure to hear those first hesitant steps and the delight when a recognised word reappears and can be read with no sounding of the letters.

Some work this morning, then took a small detour to get a photo of the polycrubs at the allotments.

A smooth flight home and time to catch up on some paperwork. Only a small mountain left to tackle.
