Figured it out!

I've been trying for ages to figure out a way to display my RBL Riders pennant, there just is nowhere on the CTX to attach something like this.
Today I looked at the 'Yacht Pennant' pole that I bought some time ago, it's designed to be attached to a bow or stern rail, usually round. I tried to bend the fitting to attach to the bracket that hold the fog/spot light on the nearside but it was too springy and too thick to bend. 
Remembered I have a gas blowtorch so dug that out and put the fitting into the vice and heated the metal to red hot, it bent!
took a few goes to get the angles right but in the end I managed to get the thin bolt through and tight.
Voilà, that's yer actual French, it seems to be solid. I would have done it on the offside but I have my camera mount on that bracket.
