Club walking
Had a great club walk today, and contrary to what the forecast said, we had really nice sunshine, and a light breeze which made for lovely conditions.
Our coach took us to Birnham near Dunkeld where we had coffee in the Birnam Arts Centre before starting our eight mile walk above Dunkeld at Catchpenny, in the area of Loch of Lowes. We walkd uphill to Dubh Loch and then on a beautiful trail leading over and down to Mill Dam, and out to Loch of Craiglush where our coach was waiting.
It was a grand day, lots of chat, lots of sweat too uphill, but thoroughly enjoyable...... and a pub break in the Beer Garden of the Royal in Dunkeld. What more could you ask for?
