Potter

A short time after our departure for this break, I realised I had forgotten suitable clothing for inclement weather. Maybe it was optimism.
We visited the studio/gallery of Bernard Leach - a towering figure of English ceramics. And one who was greatly influenced by the work of Japanese potters. His studio has new life being part museum, part studio space for ceramic artists, part exhibition space, part education space. We spent much time there.
We then drove around Cornish lanes to Porthleven and a long lunch at a Rick Stein restaurant.
And then I was reminded I was not clad for inclement weather. According to the forecast I had better do something about it.
