Whoopers

Ice has melted from Vähäjärvi lake! Last Monday there was only small area without ice. This whooper swan couple defended loudly their territory against another whooper swan couple, who tried to land on the same lake. Easy to understand the name of the species. Today atmosphere was more harmonious. I also saw a goldeneye couple swimming on the calm lake. Sami walked to the cold water boldly.
