Family Heirlooms

Kettle and trivet belonged to my husband's paternal grandparents and was in use by the side of a coal fire until the early 1970's to make the morning coffee! 
The flat iron was used by my husband's maternal grandmother; she used to heat it up on the gas stove and hold it "carefully" with a rag.
Can anyone guess what the third item is? Clue it's Victorian.
