St Mary's Tatsfield

Puffin took me on an ancestral tour of St Mary's churchyard in Tatsfield this morning. Learnt of Jimmy (Gordon) Streets (2x great uncle), who was killed in action in WW2, whose name was on the roll of honour inside the church. Next we explored around around the graveyard, finding other family members. My great grand mother Rosina Agnes Katie (Kit) Streets, my 2x great grand parents - Edward and Rosina, and my 3x great grandparents - Henry and Mary. The closest grave in the picture is their resting place. Interesting to learn of Mary's brother James Beagley who traveled to New Zealand in 1874 on board the SS Atrota, settling in Otago.
