Day 3 - Flowers from Aziz

Washed and dressed by breakfast and in my chair all day. Began walking on crutches and made it to the loo.

That's progress.

Len came in the afternoon for a while. Aziz dropped in shortly after 7 pm with this gorgeous bunch of flowers. I had to ask him to take them back for me to collect as hospital policy is not to accept flowers. They get so messy and nobody can be arsed to clean the pots properly. Maybe they don't have time?

Aziz looked very worn out. I sent him home after five minutes as I thought he would be better off trying to get some sleep rather than sitting there talking to me.
