Very small things
The second week of jury service is thankfully much less stressful so far, but being cameraless during daylight hours is a pain.
Bit of hanging around today waiting to be called so made great headway with the book I am reading, 'The Hare With Amber Eyes' by Edmund De Waal.
Having being left a couple of hundred netsuke by a favourite uncle, they lead him to trace their provenance via his Jewish ancestry across Europe through two World Wars.
I am never ever likely to own a netsuke unfortunately, but I do have a collection of very small things worth next to nothing except memories of places and people (priceless to me).
