An emerging friend.

We've had problems with our septic tank.
It works by separating solids from liquids, if you get my drift !
Clear water, at the top of the tank, then runs away through a pipe, to a soakaway, some distance down a field.
Our water wasn't able to get away, so nothing else could get in.
We had the tank emptied yesterday and today, my best friend of 60 years ;Ronnie, got in to investigate. Hopefully, he has sorted out the problem.
He retired, last week, from his job as a gulley emptier, so he's had all the jabs to stop him getting ill.
  He thought that he was going to put his feet up, but he knows me better than that.
A friend in need, indeed !
