Tree Choppin'

The weather has finally decided to start being more Spring like and Mr. Badger and I started tackling some outside tasks. We started cleaning up some brush and have started taking down some trees that overtook the field that used to be there ...

Mr. Badger took both photos, top is before from the left side, bottom is after from the right side, so hard to maybe line up what happened. We took out a total of 3 pines and I (stupidly) did not wear any gloves because they were making me so sweaty! By the end, my hands and arms were covered in sap and that sap was covered in dirt. You could hardly see any skin!  Needless to say we went out and purchased some nice, breathable, work gloves afterwards ...

So 3 trees down, 156,495 to go!
