The Weather be Damned

When you are a child and you are on vacation and the weather is less than perfect, the beach is still a beach, sand is still sand and, the ocean is still the ocean. The fog is just an unnecessary detail.

My delight today was to watch these children live life to the fullest, the weather be damned. My despair is to watch the broadcasts of the storm ravaging our East Coast. My heart goes out to all those in the path of the storm, including the 100 families in our NYC office.
