First Skipper Sighting This Year

Today's big outing was the discount store for clunky velcro beach shoes--they're a little unsteady, but they don't hurt, which is a major recommendation. Now I have something to wear besides Uggs. 

I'm managing to do a little weeding every day, which is nice. The ground is still wet enough that most things pull out easily, and it's satisfying to clear a patch. Mr S went and got some more mulch, so I can tuck the plants in for the summer, a bucket at a time.
