We got an extended weekend today with the Pfeifers, and the weather cooperated perfectly. We dropped Miles off at daycare so he could get a couple hours in with his friends and we could enjoy a child free brunch at Tasty n Sons, which was delicious as usual. We picked up Miles on our way back, walked to the park and had a quick lunch before his nap. When Miles woke up we went to the zoo where we had the place almost to ourselves. The bears and elephants were out in full effect, but Miles didn't get to see the hippos or the polar bears. We still had a great time, and stopped by the Forestry Center on our way out to get a picture in front of the train...Aaron and Amanda are the train experts afterall working for UP.
We've had so much fun having a low key mini vacation with them this weekend and will be so sad to see them go tomorrow morning.
