Brown Tailed Moth Caterpillars

These cocoons were strewn along the path by the Fleet on our Bird Walk today.Apparently they are notifiable as the moths will fly into people's faces and there have been cases of people being blinded - ugh! It was very windy on the Chesil - lots of Arctic terns and a loud song of a Song thrush singing in a bush close to us.

I did some more weeding today but stiffness has followed - not good!:))

So sad about the Masterchef competitor who died competing in the London Marathon- Matt Campbell- he was a particularly memorable candidate.
