I Love History
As a child I loved history and as a teenager my ‘A’ Level was centred around the Tudors.
So today I finally got to visit Peterborough Cathedral and it was everything I thought it would be.
Not as grand as some, not as imposing, but still with a powerful pull.
Free entry and a free guided tour were added bonuses and to finally stand beside Katherine of Aragon’s tomb fulfilled that little boys dream - and then some.
A look around Peterborough before heading further north to York where we arrived in plenty of time to check in and enjoy our first Wagamama’s dinner.
A great first day with Clare and I sharing lots of laughs.
