Lula at Luz
Decided to go for a walk at Luz this evening, it was so gently beautiful, but the best bit was seeing the water up under the bridge again - we actually saw a huge golden carp swimming under where, not long ago, it was only sun-scorched grass. It took Lula a while to pluck up the courage to walk on the boardwalk - he lay down with his legs splayed and refused to budge at first; didn't fancy dragging or carrying him (he is getting heavy), so we were glad he changed his mind.
Our French friend, Steph, brought her young daughter, visiting from Morocco, for lunch. We did sit outside, but it was really too hot. Seeing it through their eyes, the Land does look stunning at the moment - huge swathes of flowers, yellow and orange, pink and purple, and all shades of white.
