You lookin’ at me?

Took a quick trip into the village this morning, and stopped briefly by the pond on the way back to see if I could spot any more wildlife, after the happy sighting of a very young clutch of ducklings on Friday. I wasn’t expecting this! A terrapin was swimming about in the water, and this one had parked himself on the bank nearby. He gave me a rather suspicious look, but obliged by staying still for today’s blip. Thanks, chum.
