Hurricane Sandy

The storm has hit us now and for the past hour I've watched the sky south of me turn various shades of blue and white as the transformers blew one by one. Everything is shaking including me.

The winds are howling with the most awful sound I've heard in a long time and I'm an old timer. Our power just went out and the candles have been lit.

Noel , Shayn, Austin and Mike Jr. are with me now - the hubs was called in for GSP emergency essential services detail just as he is for every storm whether it's hurricane or snow.

I am buying a generator as soon as the delivery trucks get though!
