Cherry Blossom

We have a love/hate relationship with this tree at the end of our garden path.  At the moment we love it but in a couple of weeks we wont love it quite so much when its petals find their way into the house, car and motorhome and leave stains on the carpets.  By autumn we will no doubt hate the mess it makes as it bears inedible fruit in abundance and we slip and slide our way through stoney mush day after day.    It is the only one of many that were planted on this roadside fifty years ago!
