Biking
I went on a bike ride with friends today. We went on a rekkie for an aqua bike event we are doing starting at Grafham Waters. I’m not sure if it was a good or bad thing to do. 59 miles of very undulating roads. Some of the hills were so hard to climb. We were all broken by the time we got back. Despite it being sunny it was quite windy at times too.
I realise my legs have got a lot of work to do. The event is in 4 weeks. We stopped a fair bit during this ride as we needed the breaks. That won’t be happening on the day. Plus there is a cut off time. I’m very close to it. Will I get my biking fitness level up to what’s needed from me. I will do my best.
