Day 3....

We stopped in Trondheim where i did a walk in bracing wind, on our way again at noon. The main photo in Munk Islet, the extra is the Kjeungskjær lighthouse. Info see below:

Munkholmen (Norwegian: Monk's islet) is an islet in the municipality of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. The 13,000-square-metre (3.2-acre) island sits in the Trondheimsfjord about 1.3 kilometres (0.81 mi) northwest of the island of Brattøra and the mouth of the river Nidelva in the center of the city of Trondheim. The islet has served as a place of execution, a monastery, a fortress, prison, and a World War II anti-aircraft gun station. Today, Munkholmen is a popular tourist attraction and recreation site. [1]

The Kjeungskjær Lighthouse (Norwegian: Kjeungskjær fyr) is a coastal lighthouse in the municipality of Ørland in Trøndelag county, Norway. The lighthouse is located on a tiny island at the mouth of the Bjugnfjorden about 3.5 kilometres (2.2 mi) west of the village of Uthaug and 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) south of the village of Nes in Bjugn municipality. It was built in 1880 and automated in 1987. Prior to being automated, the operators lived on the lower floors of the building.[1]
