Hunkering Down

Why are we never as smart as the birds? Look closely, maybe even in large, see the gulls all facing one direction and tucked between the rocks? They are there for a reason! The wind and rain are stirring things up. Now look in the water just beyond those gulls, see the surfer? Is she dedicated, adventurous or stupid?

We are having a bit of a blow, but it is nothing compared to our east coast counterparts.
