Second Hand Sunday Market

A morning of getting everything back in the fridge freezer after the defrosting and cleaning of it yesterday.  I must be in a roll as I then  decided it was the dishwasher's turn to get the once over with vinegar and bicarbonate of soda. Happy to report that the contents of the filter weren't so 'interesting' as last time I cleaned it!   An old favourite Gloria Estefan cd helps in jobs like those!

It was a lovely sunny day here and so I walked out, wandered for a while then treated myself to a late menu del dia in a local restaurant La Llimona.  A reminder popped up in my calendar that a monthly second hand market was on today so I headed there....not in the barrio.  First time I'd been there and worth the trip. It was in what I imagine is an old factory. The loud music (not Gloria Estefan) was a bit off-putting, but I just had to get used to it.  I bought two lovely big colourful scarves, a cardi (brand new and for just 5 euros!) and two little plates to add to our eclectic collection.  

Bb got back safely at night from Munich and we caught up on our days apart. Nice that we'll both be here in Barcelona for San Jordi tomorrow on the 23rd, but perhaps a bit less exciting for him not to have to get a rose to me in Cairo!
