Garfield High

Soccer season starts!     That’s Fiona with 2 braids on the yellow line..not sure what’s happening here…But frankly the reason for this photo is that beautiful building, Garfield High School, built in 1923,  where her Dad and her Uncle went to High School and I spent a lot of PTA time.  Too bad those portables are in the way.    The parks department is using the lovely newish astroturf football field for these games —I think 6 at a time.   Lucky kids.
