The Birthday Girl

It was a surprise 70th birthday celebration for Ian’s Aunty Daphne. She had a lovely time celebrating with everyone.

As we had headed up earlier than expected we were able to help out and decorate the place ready for the shenanigans :)

Extra is a piccie of Daphne with her sister (Ian’s mum - Valerie) and all the kids - great nieces and nephews to Daphne and grandkids to Valerie.

Ian’s mum lives in retirement flats so we were able to takeover their games room and lure Daphne there under false pretences so that she had a lovely surprise.

The kids were thoroughly entertained by playing with the balloons and the family all had a lovely chat. There are various family weddings coming up this year and next so we were able to catch up on all the plans and share in all the excitement.
