Fields of Gold

After last night's rain, we woke up to another sunny day so after making bacon sandwiches for breakfast, I went for a swim in the outdoor pool.  On my way I stopped at Falmer to take some photos of the rapeseed fields which have suddenly turned yellow due to the weather this week.

I swam 50 lengths  and then when I got home, Alan and I went our for a bike ride.  We cycled 9 miles in total to the marina and back and stopped off for an unplanned picnic and hen we got home I wanted to go in the hot tub but when I took the lid off, the water had gone green!  It's obviously a chemical imbalance, but I need to research what we need to get to stop this from happening again.  If anyone has any tips it would be greatly appreciated.

The weather suddenly changed this afternoon too - from being glorious sunshine, the sea mist rolled in and the temperature dropped, but an hour or so later, it had cleared as quickly as it had arrived!

I cooked a Sunday roast, and chatted to Steffi who is now a regular visitor to Brighton, and we've arranged to meet up next Friday when she's back, so that will be nice.  Other than that, I've had lots of bedding and towels to wash and dry,  furniture to re-arrange in the girls' bedroom, and that's another weekend over!  Hope you've had a good one, I'll endeavour to catch up with you all now.
