Apple Blossom

At least I think it is anyway. Whatever it is, it smells divine and is a joy to see each April.

Another very warm day, 23 degrees. The week has been even hotter, so having it drop a little was quite a relief. We've been long overdue some sun.

I was supposed to drag myself to M & S to return a bra, but I couldn't be bothered, so had a quick trip to the shop and then chilled the rest of the day. I felt like I had a bit more time this weekend, and made the most of it. I wanted to catch up with my photos, and also work on my book.

Words don't always come when it's convenient, and after making some notes about the weeks goings on, I finally had time to pen at least some of them. And I wrote about three thousand words, taking my word count up to 40k! Woohoo!

When I'm inspired, I can crack on. I ordered "This Is Going To Hurt" by Adam Kay today, and after reading a few preview pages on Amazon, I know I'm going to love it. I haven't laughed out loud for a long time. And I suppose that sort of inspired me to keep going. After all, he just kept a diary of his misadventures in medicine, and look how great the result is.

I didn't go to the gym tonight, as it was too warm and I just needed that bit of extra time to myself. Plus I'm taking the children there on a trip tomorrow, so I think that will suffice!

Off to bed to say a prayer "please don't let anybody hurt them self tomorrow, please don't let anybody hurt them self tomorrow...." ;-)
