knight in training

I want my daughter to grow up, kind and  gentle and caring towards people... but I also want her to know how to throat punch someone if necessary... I read that on face book the other day and it seemed like a good philosophy... in our case however we're teaching her jousting, swordplay, and how to stab skeletons in the nose... 

It was the open day at Winton House... an old house, nice gardens, a blow up bouncy titanic, a bird of prey display and a knight performing self defence... nothing to dislike about that... and it was our first family outing this year with nice weather...
