Hazewinkel

An interesting morning on Hazewinkel today. Despite the threat of thunderstorms, the were a lot of crews out. For a while now, I have contemplated to start to row again. This morning I asked what I needed to complete in paperwork, before I could start again. Not much apparently, as by 10 am I was going out in a 4! Not rowing, but sculling... yikes, that took a bit of getting used to. However, I managed 8 km and I am now suffering from muscle aches and blisters.
In the extra photo: as it was beautiful weather the juniors were practicing their balancing skills in the single scull. Don’t expect a photo of me doing this any time shortly!
