Spitty's Day Out

For the first time, I ventured on the roads as a passenger in Ian's 1968 Spitfire. We drove to Westerham Brewery (what an amazing place ) for a classic car meeting and then departed on a rally for an hour or so on Kentish roads by yellow rape fields and trees laden with blossom. With temperatures in the high 20s it was a treat to be in a topless motor.

We arrived at Lullingstone Castle for a cream tea and a wander around the grounds and gardens. We were back in our neck of the woods, so to speak.
