Magnolia flower bud........

........bursting through. 
I took this shot using my 50mm lens with a 21mm ext: tube so I could get right in there and hopefully show the detail but there will be more when it is fully open.
 
     We have three of these but are in large pots so they will become Magnolia 'standards' They are currently about 3ft high.
