Montfrague

Montfrague Parque Nacional is noted for it's bird life, this is a young Griffon Vulture which has decided to perch on the telecoms mast at the castle.

The extra is an adult riding the thermals past the castle.

Montfrague is an area of land in a triangle formed by Trujillo, Plasencia and the City of Caceres. After climbing to the castle on the ridge you get views of the dehesa and the river Tagus winding through the valley.
