I'm making a pinhole camera. The idea originally was to download some plans and then just follow the instructions, that didn't seem hard enough. So, as my own worst enemy, I've designed one completely from scratch. So I've had to do the maths to figure out the focal length, figure out if the image plane needs to be curved to get proper focus (it does), how big the pinhole needs to be, etc, etc.

What I don't have is the correct tools for the fiddly cutting out of the components, so we'll see how it turns out! I'm now at the sticking-it-all-together phase, it looks OK...ish. We'll see.
