Fifty years and counting......

This year our church at Claremont celebrates fifty years....... it actually does go back further in some ways as we were established from a church in Glasgow and inherited its Minister, communion silver and money from the sale of that church.

Originally the meetings were held in a house, then a school, until the church building was built.  

Today we were celebrating the past fifty years; next Sunday our theme will be the next fifty years.

Our new banner was made by some of the ladies of the church, and unveiled to us all this morning.  The flowers are yellow for remembrance.

The summer seems to be over..... it is damp, cold and windy!!!!
