Edgar has devoted himself to sports since he was tiny. Years for football teams which he loved and a cricket team that he was devoted to. he cared not that he did not shine, he always just loved it. A couple of years ago he took up rugby for Garstang RUFC and shocked himself and us all by earning the tag of "flying prop". Today in the penultimate match of the season, in the closing minutes, the captain set him up for this run which resulted in him taking his team ahead and secured their promotion next season. I can see the years of endeavour in his smile as he knew, this time, the moment was his.
