Lifted

Lovely day.....
Set off to Rosslyn chapel.  I’ve never been and today seemed a good one to give it a go so we set off and really enjoyed looking around. Amazing carvings....seemed almost like a stonemason’s practice site where every technique was used in a tiny space. Browsed all the information boards and took lots of external photos, but disappointed that there weren’t many prints to buy of the inside where you’re not allowed to take pictures,
Enjoyed a coffee on the warm sunny terrace and walked down to see the ruined castle...lovely sandstone colours of pinks and rusty browns.
Decided to go to Portobello next and walked along the beach a couple of times, broken up by tea and a flapjack in the beach cafe. Non stop sunshine all the way....just gorgeous.
Nipped into the Velvet Easel gallery and tempted by some new art....thinking about it!
Home to book a place on Mull in June...much easier than it’s been before!...then to Sardinian restaurant for dinner. Culurgiones followed by pork fillet in myrtle sauce. Took me straight back to our holiday last summer....delish.
Home to consider what changes I’ll make to the flat once it’s mine....the list is growing! A very good day :)
