Poppy...

....was resting when I visited an old school friend.  Her granddaughter wants me to shorten a dress for her as she is going to be a bridesmaid.  Hadn't realised the wedding is less than two weeks away!  

Another person has asked me to shorten a jumpsuit she has just bought for her holiday which starts a week on Monday.
Guess I will be manning the sewing machine tomorrow morning.

I should say sewing machines as No 1 son has managed to repair my old one.  He is clever sorting out such problems.  The new machine doesn't do everything the old one did as well so I am well pleased.
