What a magical day!

So, the search for puffins and gannets is complete. We went to RSPB Bempton Cliffs and spent a day in the sunshine watching the birds - what a treat for my birthday!
The puffins were not that plentiful but we managed to find a few, and my main blip shows one of the few times we saw more than one at a time. They were just so comical to watch and for someone who has only seen them in pictures and on TV, it was magical and the sun shone almost all day too! 

The gannets were a lot more numerous and a lot noisier, but such beautiful birds. And then there were the razorbills, fulmars, kittiwakes and guillimots - it was awesome.  A selection of other birds in extras
