Are you going to take notice of me?

I spent some time this morning sitting on the patio enjoying the sun and watching the dogs pursue their usual exploration round the lawns and shrubs – Springers never seem to pause much! 
After a while I was aware that Dolly was standing still just to the side of me and I couldn’t resist taking a shot. The sunlight was bright and it could well have been that light that caused her to narrow her eyes when looking at me. However, she does have novel ways of indicating she needs my attention and the narrow eyes may have been her SILLY way of getting my attention.
