Farewell to Menaggio (for now)

It’s been blissful. I can understand why people fall in love with Lake Como. As I said thank you to the lovely lady who has been cleaning my room, she said, “See you next year.” my reply was, “It may be sooner.”

I know we’ve been lucky with the weather. I know we’ve got on well as a group. But we’re all talking about “next time.” For quite a few it’s been a return visit.

Lake Como is undoubtedly the most beautiful of the lakes (I haven’t seen Lake Garda).

Yes. I want to come back.
