Friday: Very Clear Instructions

For very legitimate work purposes I had to head to 'Save-On Foods' supermarket on Cambie this morning but it was all a bit of a wasted journey as the minute I got there, they had a fire alarm, which included water running down the escalators and through the car park ceiling, alongside fire engines driving down the street. So I paid $3 for parking and headed back to the office.

This evening I was invited to a dance performance, entitled 'Very Clear Instructions', by a British choreographer at the new Polygon Gallery on north shore. K. came with me and we stopped off at an Italian restaurant for a bite to eat beforehand. The performance was intermittently good - some of it was excellent, and very tight, some of it involved people standing in silence and then falling on the floor.
