Manatees in our canal

The other morning I heard the now familiar sound of manatees (sea cows) coming up for air in our canal! There was not one, but at least 2 manatees, maybe 3. It is hard to tell because the Braden River is a muddy river. I think it was a mother and a baby and another adult right there in the canal.
