Dark-eyed Junco

Perkier in Large.

This little cutie had to be my blip... I rarely get a image of one, and I think this is my best of the few so far.  Their feathers are so dark, it's hard to get good detail, but I was fortunate enough to be very close and very camouflaged.  My presence went unnoticed long enough for a couple of shots.  Whew  :)

I was all set to blip an eagle that soared over our house.  I can hardly believe the eagle in-flight got bumped two days in a row...
