The Friday bird gets the worm

This mother blackbird was waiting on the fence for ages with her meal for her babies.. it looks like a good catch!  I think she has a nest very close to the front porch and l am thrilled the eggs have hatched already.  It has been a lovely day.. sunny and warm but not quite as hot as yesterday.
